On Tuesday 30th December 2025, from 6.00 to 8.00 pm, WSG is organizing an orientation and advice evening on university course choices in medicine and in many other health sciences related courses. Main speaker: Mss Henrietta Bongu, BSc Medical Science from TUDublin, MSc Psychology from Arden University (UK), Medical student at Ulster University

We are now offering an education advisory service for Leaving Cert students who are considering medicine or health sciences but feel unsure about where to apply or which course to choose.

This service will be delivered by Henrietta Bongu, a registered medical scientist and current medical student, who understands the pathways and requirements first-hand.

For €40, students will receive:
• A one-hour consultation (via Zoom) to discuss their interests, grades, and career goals.
• A personalised one-page summary, highlighting the best course and university options for them — including entry requirements and key deadlines.

Yup, another milestone! We are thrilled to announce that Waterford School of Grinds Childcare service has now entered the School Age National Directory, i.e registered with TUSLA; therefore parents can from now enroll their primary school children for the next back-to-school in our childcare/pick-up service and be funded by the National Childcare Scheme (NCS).

SAINT PATRICK'S DAY PARADE 2025

Ready for our first ever participation. All those who will join us for the parade are very welcome. Our set up place is on Merchant Quay, by Treacy's Hotel, between 11.00 am and 12.00 noon, on Monday.

We are very pleased to announce to parents that WSG childcare service is now a member of Early Childhood Ireland (membership number: 122145) and will soon also be registered with TUSLA.
