Open 7.45am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday for 51 weeks, full-time, morning, afternoon and part-time childcare spaces are available. Our rooms care for Tweenies 1–2 years, Toddlers 2–3 years, Montessori (ECCE) and after school. Mid-morning fruit snack. Freshly prepared hot dinner. Children who sleep are supervised in the designated sleep room with recorded checks. Inside, all rooms have a daily routin
e and activities are child led. The layout of the rooms include defined areas for the children including a home corner, construction area, music, heuristic play, quiet area. Activities during the day include painting using hands/straws/potatoes/sponges, colouring, dress up, role play, books, jig-saws, puzzles, songs, stories, bricks, animals, pegs, beads, play-dough, wooden toys, music, dance and many more. Toys and equipment are all at child level with children’s artwork, family pictures and projects displayed on the walls. Language and literature are encouraged with descriptive words on display beside the equipment for the children to see.Soft furnishing, mats and drapes give a warm and homely feel to the rooms. Outdoors, there is a large area with grass, soft mats and a concrete area for using cars, bikes etc. There is a purpose built play house and sheltered area for all children to play in when the weather is wet. Activities include swings, slide, playhouse, sand/water pits, gym mats, Buntus exercises and games, sports such as tennis, soccer, basketball and jogging. Our Open Door Policy allows parents to call at any time during the day and go into their child’s room. A Behaviour management policy is in place to ensure that no disrespectful or harmful practices are carried out in respect of children.
