Our High School students have had a busy few weeks visiting The Waterford Medieval Museum, The Great Escape & Dublin City. We're looking for to this weekends overnight trip to the west of Ireland and next weeks Irish dance workshop!

The first international food day of 2022 proved to be the usual delicious mix of sweet and savoury.
We also celebrated Rafael’s birthday, Gabi’s first day in her new job and bid farewell to Alfredo who has been a central part of our learning family since last October.
We’re all looking forward to a 2022 filled with new friends and adventures 😁.

Teaching a small group of junior international language learners in Kilkenny twice a week during the academic year.
Preparing the students for Cambridge Exams (CEFRL Level B1/B2)
Planning and delivering 2 x 90-minute afternoon lessons per week according to the syllabus.
Giving written and oral feedback on progress and assessments.
Working with the team to deliver, correct and give feedback on mock examinations.
Providing reports on progress for students, parents and agents.
Regularly communicating with the academic team and pro-actively seeking supports and/or resources when needed.
Required:
EFL Teaching qualification and experience
Strong communication/organisational skills, cultural awareness and classroom management skills
Ability to work autonomously with support from the WELC academic team.
Experience in and enthusiasm for teaching junior learners.
Desirable:
Familiarity with Cambridge Suite of Exams(PET/First/Advanced) and the CEFRL.
Experience working with international junior learners.
Familiarity with communicative teaching model and Microsoft Office.
