Due to the relocation of our current part/time member of staff a job opportunity has arisen from mid October for a Freelance groom/yard person to work alongside myself and yard owner.

Ideally 8am to 11am (3hrs min per day) 5 days per week to include Saturday and Sunday. Milton Keynes / Leighton Buzzard area.

All general yard duties, to a high standard, with handling of horses from the ground and possible show days too.

Could possibly suit two people if one wanted to do weekends and the other during the week.

As those who know me will know, I love a Gorilla broom. We have both sizes at the yard but Tina couldn’t finf the small one and asked “Where’s my Armadillo?!” meaning the small one!

The small broom shall henceforth be known as the “Armadillo Broom” 😂

After nearly a year off (due to various circumstances) I started a new job at the end of March and I’m very much enjoying being back working and getting my teeth into my new role!

It helps that I’m working for a lovely boss and have got some young horses to work with including a Cleveland Bay 3yr old filly (just starting) and a smart coloured 5yr old who’s going to start his ridden career in earnest now!

The Snow Queen did good today! Piloted by my lovely friend Tamsyn she produced a super test for 69% in the Prelim Silver Championship at the British Dressage Winter Championships!

Immensely proud as her owner/breeder and as a friend of Tamsyn who rode a super, positive and accurate test!
