Well done to this great group of boys who had to work very hard to win the U13 hurling final. The semi final went to extra time last week and yesterday they eeked out a narrow win over a strong Holy Cross team. The score was 2:7 to 2:10. The future is bright for Passage Hurling with 10 of these boys playing for the club! Thank you to Miss Flynn for all you do for the promotion of gaelic games in our school.

Our Fifth and Sixth classes studied the Famine in history. A field trip to the Dunbrody gave them a good understanding of life in those times.

Last week our Junior pupils met representatives from the Coast Guard to learn about Water Safety. They also got a chance to build sand castles with their friends! How lucky are we to have this resource on the doorstep. Thank you to the Coast Guard volunteers who gave up their time to make sure our pupils are safety aware on the beach in the summer months.

Well done to our athletes who made it to the Waterford Schools Athletics in the RSC. It is very difficult to qualify for this event and even more difficult to win a medal. Well done to all our pupils who represented us so well both on and off the track that day. (More photos will be shared on Aladdin in the coming days).
