We would like to wish our Senior Preschool room a big welcome back, we are so excited to get to know you all and have a fun year together!🎉

We started our week with a 'Get to know me' activity. We decorated pictures of our families to display on the family wall. We also shared who's in our family, what pets we have and our favourite thing to do at home 🤩

This activity:
➡️ Builds Self-Esteem: Seeing family portraits on walls shows children they are valued, reinforces bonds and signifies that children are valued members of their family.
➡️Provides Emotional Security: Photos serve as daily reminders of love, and offers comfort throughout the day.
➡️Reinforces Identity: Images give children a clear visual history of who they are and where they fit within their family unit.
➡️Sparks Storytelling: Pictures encourage conversations that build language skills and emotional awareness.

We're easing into the activities here in the toddler room as our crew are still loving exploring their new room 😊 We set up a simple sensory art station for them where they could either paint or create with crepe paper and channel their inner artists 🧑‍🎨 🫟 They had the best time painting and sticking bits on and especially loved painting themselves 🙃 Well done everyone 🥰

For our special day the Junior Preschool children had some summer themed activites. We played some beach ball games, had sand and water play, used bubbles and pavement chalk. No Summer day would be complete without some cool ice lollies! The weather cooperated with us and the children had a really memorable day. ☀️

✨️✨️ Wobbler Room Special Day 2026 – Disney Theme ✨️✨️

Our special day was filled with lots of magical little characters and beautiful princesses! 👸🤴✨

We spent the day listening to lots of Disney music and enjoyed a Moana/Frozen themed tuff tray activity. The tray included Rice Krispies as sand, water, ice cubes with Disney characters frozen inside, along with scooters, cups, and lots of different objects for sensory and imaginative play! ❄️🌊🏝️

The children had so much fun exploring, playing, dancing, and using their imaginations throughout the day. It was a day full of smiles, laughter, and Disney magic! 🎉✨🌸💚
