📰 The third VR-Intense Project EU newsletter is out!

At Future in Perspective, we’re proud to be part of the VR-Intense consortium, working with partners across Europe to bring immersive virtual reality into higher education. Here’s the latest from the project:

🥽 Collaboration Tool testing: HEI participants have been meeting in a shared virtual classroom to explore, communicate, display documents and use the virtual board. Stress tests are helping the team work towards supporting groups of around 30 users.

🚀 VR tools nearing completion: The VR Field Trip and the Collaboration Tool are in their final stages of development, shaped by feedback from students and educators.

📚 Learning modules on the way: Six modules are being developed to help Higher Education lecturers bring VR into their teaching, covering technology, pedagogy, accessibility and practical implementation.

💻 An online partner meeting for our (Re)Natured Cities project took place on 28 September 2026 to review progress and finalise arrangements for a teaching workshop in Vejle, Denmark in October. 🇩🇰

Two local environmentalists will share their experience, including the development of a 500m² wetland, 1km biodiversity walkway, Bee Highway, three Tiny Forests, and the Green Club Initiative, supported by a community Biodiversity Action Plan. 🐝🌳🌿

🌿 Today, FIP met online with (Re)Natured Cities' partners to continue preparing for our upcoming Learning, Teaching and Training Activity (LTTA) in Denmark 🇩🇰

Taking place at the end of October, the LTTA will bring partners together with environmental experts from each country to share good practices and inspiring examples of renaturalisation from across Europe.

We’re looking forward to learning from each other, exchanging experiences and bringing these ideas into the next stages of the project! 🌱
