On 29th of May 2022, Quarter Mediation organised in Assen, the Netherlands, an European Dissemination Event for the project "“VIDA - Vital Information for Drugs Awareness. Using interactive infographics to raise drugs awareness”. The event attended by 24 people from different European countries was an opportunity for the participants to get in touch with the tangible results of the VIDA project: the Compendium of Interactive Infographics - Toolkit, the In-Service Training Programme, the Peer Leadership Training Programme and the Online Interactive Portal - VIDA MOOC designed and created by Quarter Mediation.

What a pleasure it was to finally meet (nearly all of) the VIDA project partners face-to-face for the final partner meeting of the project.

Over the past two years, the VIDA partners from Finland, Ireland, Czech Republic, Portugal and the Netherlands have been working to raise Vital Information for Drug Awareness for young people and youth workers!

As you can see, we're nothing but smiles!

On the 7th of March FIP held a multiplier event with young people to discuss the topics of drug awareness and showcase the VIDA resources!

This gave us the opportunity to discuss the impact of drugs and alcohol on the lives of young people and how they can take appropriate response action towards substance use!

During the month of March we did our Multiplier Event in a school in Portugal. Escola Profitecla
It was a day full of activities and reflection about the importance of raising awareness of how drugs affect young people in Europe, and how to build skills to tackle the issue. And all with the help of the interactive infographics of the VIDA project.

Drug consumption might be difficult to discuss. It's a very personal and sometimes delicate subject. Understanding substances and why individuals use them can enable to open up a supporting and open dialogue.
