Best wishes to all our St Mary's boys and girls returning to school today. Fáilte ar ais!! A warm welcome to any new students joining our school, most especially Junior Infant students on their first day of school ✨️🎒🚸🏫📚

School start times on Thursday August 27th: 9.10am for senior infant & DEN classes, 9.20am for 1st-6th classes and 10.30am-12:30pm for Junior Infant pupils.

Our pre-loved uniform shop is open tomorrow 6-8pm in the school hall. All welcome. See photos for what's available

The final fun event organised by our Student Wellbeing Committee this year will be "Anything But a School Bag" Day on Friday, 19th June. Students are invited to bring their school belongings in anything other than a traditional school bag.

As a school community, we would like to sincerely thank the 20 members of our Student Wellbeing Committee for their dedication and commitment throughout the year. They have generously given their time to lunchtime meetings and have organised many enjoyable events that have helped make our school a happy and welcoming place for everyone.

Bíonn daltaí Naomh Muire ag obair go dian chun a gcuid Gaeilge a úsáid agus a fheabhsú. Tá áthas orainn a chur in iúl daoibh go bhfuil ár gcéad Ghaelbhratach bronnta orainn!

Chun an Ghaelbhratach seo a cheiliúradh, beidh lá gléasta suas againn Déardaoin, an 18 Meitheamh. Ba mhaith linn na páistí a fheiceáil gléasta mar fhocal Gaeilge (nó i ngeansaí na hÉireann nó in rud éigin glas).

Go raibh maith agaibh as bhur dtacaíocht lenár nGaeilge a úsáid sa bhaile, agus maith sibh gach duine!

The students of St Mary's have been working hard to use and improve their Irish. We are pleased to announce that their hard work has paid off and we have been awarded our first Irish Flag! 

 To celebrate this achievement, we are holding a dress up day on Thursday 18th of June. We are encouraging the children to come to school dressed as an Irish word (or in an Irish Jersey or something green).

 Thank you for your continued support and encouragement in using Gaeilge at home and well done everyone!

Pre-Loved Uniform Shop 2026 takes place on Wednesday 24th June from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in the school hall.

🚸Uniform donations can be sent in with your child to their class teacher by Tuesday June 23rd.

✨️We kindly ask that all donated items are clean and in good condition.

 🚨 Please note that shirts and polo shirts can only be accepted if they are new and unused.

 Thank you for your support. Your donations help make school uniforms more affordable and sustainable for our school community.
