🌟🎉 School Tour to Let's Go, Mallow 🎉🌟

What an amazing day our Juniors, Senior Infants, First Class and Second Class had on their school tour to Let's Go in Mallow this week! 🚌✨

From the moment they arrived, the excitement was in the air as the children enjoyed a fantastic variety of fun games, activities and adventures. 🤸‍♀️🎯🎈 There was plenty of laughter, endless energy and lots of smiling faces throughout the day. 😄💙

It was wonderful to see everyone having so much fun, making special memories with their friends and enjoying every minute of their day out. 🥰🌟 The children were a credit to our school and their excellent behaviour helped make the trip even more enjoyable for all.

A huge thank you to the staff at Let's Go for a fantastic experience and to everyone who helped make the day such a success. 🙏💫

🏃‍♂️🏅 Between Cork City Sports, a hurling blitz organised by Adrian in Ballyanly with Berrings National School 🏑, and plenty of fun outdoors in the beautiful weather ☀️🌳, it's been a very busy few weeks! 😅

📅 The last month of the school year is sure to be even busier, but we can't wait for all the exciting activities and memories still to come! 🎉✨😊

Big congratulations to our 3rd class students and on their brilliant achievements over the weekend 👏🏅

Gracen competed in the All Ireland BJJ Finals where she finished in 2nd place after 3 tough fights — an amazing achievement and a great reward for all her hard work and training 🥈

Olan was competing at the Munsters where he came 1st in the sprint and 2nd in the long-distance event. He has now qualified for the All-Ireland series — a fantastic achievement 🏃‍♂️🎽

It’s great to see the different sports and activities our students are involved in outside of school, and we love celebrating their success and dedication 🥳👏🏻🙌🏻

During April and May, Rang Glas had great fun learning, exploring, and discovering new things together with friends 😊✨ We enjoyed lots of exciting activities while learning all about Space 🚀👨‍🚀🪐, Time 🕐⏰, Water 💧🫧🌧️, and Capacity 🥛🫙📏. The children loved investigating planets and astronauts, exploring how we measure time, experimenting with water, and learning about different ways to measure and compare capacity. There was lots of hands-on fun, teamwork, creativity, and curiosity throughout our learning journey together 🌟🎨📚🧠

What an amazing Active Schools Week! 🏃‍♀️🎉
From skipping challenges 🤸‍♂️ to parachute games 🌈, active homework 🏡⚽ and even the teachers joining in on the fun 😂👏 — there were smiles, laughs and lots of movement all week long! 💙💛

A huge well done to everyone who got involved and made the week so enjoyable 🙌🥳

Today the Junior Infants had a lovely visit to see their friends in Rang Glas 🌈😊. They enjoyed exploring the classroom, playing with toys together 🧸🎲, and spending time getting to know one another 💕.

The children were fascinated by the different ways their friends communicate 🗣️🤝 and especially enjoyed visiting the work stations where so much wonderful learning takes place each day ✨📚.

It was a wonderful opportunity to build friendships 👭👬, learn from one another 🌟, and celebrate the many unique ways we all communicate and learn 💙. The children showed great kindness, curiosity, and enthusiasm throughout the visit 😊👏, and we are already looking forward to our next one! 🎉

Today is a very special day for our 6th class pupil, Laura O’Regan! 🎉💪🏼

Laura has been selected to represent Cork on the Primary Games team and will take to the field today in Páirc Uí Chaoimh during the Cork vs Limerick match — an incredible achievement.

Laura is a fantastic player, and we are all extremely proud of her. Wishing her the very best of luck on this big day! 🔴⚪🙌🏻

Congratulations to all the boys and girls in 6th class who made their Sacrament of Confirmation today in Cloghroe Church ✨🙏 It was a beautiful and very memorable ceremony 💒

A sincere thank you to Mr. O’Brien for all his hard work in preparing the students, and to the choir for making the day extra special 🎶👏

It’s been a busy and exciting few weeks at school! 🎉 From bingo 🎲 and Maidin Ghaelach 🇮🇪 to our Stand for Féile jersey day 👕, there’s been great energy all around. Spanish classes have also kicked off with Ms. Looney during break time 🇪🇸, and our Chess Club has been keeping minds sharp ♟️🧠.

A huge well done to our Sciath na Scol teams, who have represented the school so proudly over the past few weeks 🏅👏. We’re especially thrilled that our girls’ team is progressing to the semi-finals—best of luck in the next stage! 🏆⚽

Here’s to another busy and successful Term 3! 📚✨

Rang Gorm, Rang Dearg, and Rang Glas enjoyed a truly wonderful trip together 😊🌟

Our first stop was Tara Gardens 🐑, where we saw adorable newborn lambs, as well as chickens 🐔 and ducks 🦆. Some of the children even had the special opportunity to hold the little lambs 🥰

Afterwards, we visited a café in Ballincollig ☕🍰, where everyone enjoyed a delicious treat 😋 On our way back to school, we stopped at Ballycannon Playground 🛝, where the children had great fun playing 🤸‍♂️

The children had an amazing day out!!! 🎉🌈
