rs, where each child is treated with respect and will develop and learn as individuals in a safe, secure environment. Qualifications Training & Experience
I am Garda vetted, have successfully completed the First Aid Respond (FAR) training, I am an Inclusion Co-ordinator (LINC) have Level 6 Advanced Certificate Supervision in Childcare and Special Needs Assisting Qualifications. I have training in First Aid, Child Protection, The National Quality Framework for Early Childhood Education (Síolta), The National Early Childhood Curriculum (Aistear), Lámh & The Hanen Teacher Talk courses. I have over 20 years’ experience working with preschool and afterschool children in a childcare setting. My premises and service are inspected by; Tulsa, The Child and Family Agency, and the Department of Education and Skills (DES).

Our Story

Hi My name is Mags Mc Hutcheon welcome to Little Owl's Childminding Services. Little Owl's Childminding Service is a home from home registered childminding facility for Children who are eligible for the ECCE programme. I have over 23 year experience as a childminder and working with preschool and after-school children in a childcare setting.

Children have opportunities to play and explore in a safe and secure outdoor play area, a wildlife garden and a fully equipped preschool room. I believe that children learn through play. My curriculum is play based and planned around the interests of each child and the guidance of Aistear (The National Early Childhood Curriculum) and Síolta (the National Quality Framework for Early Childhood Education).

I am a registered childminder with Childminding Ireland, am HSE Notified and Garda Vetted am trained in First Aid and Child Protection. Have Fetac Level 6 Supervision in Childcare, and Special Needs Assisting Qualifications and have completed training as a Inclusion Co-ordinator
