In December 2007 Tots to Teens opened it's doors to the community of Tullow. We are a community facility that offers a full day care services and after school services for children between the age of 5 months to 12 years. Our mission is to provide affordable, accessible, reliable and excellent quality childcare for the children and families in Tullow County Carlow and surrounding areas. Our Ethos

at Tots to Teens is to provide a caring and loving environment available to all the children. To help enhance the children's development emotionally, socially and academically, enabling them to take a constructive place in their community, a place where parents feel happy to leave their children knowing that they will be cared for in a friendly interactive environment by qualified staff who will work with the best interests of the child in their mind at all times. We will also help the children's parents's, welcoming their involvement in building and maintaining positive relationships. Here at Tots to Teens we have a set of core values these include: 1.A child centered approach to all our work and policies. 2. Partnerships with children, parents, staff work colleagues and any other relevant national bodies. 3. Respect for all children, parents, staff, work colleagues and relevant national bodies. 4. Equality of opportunity for all children, parents and staff. All staff here at Tots to Teens hold a minimum qualification of QQI Level 5. All staffed are also trained in Child Protection, First Aid and Manual Handling with several staff trained in Mental Health First Aid. Here at Tots to Teens we encourage and support staff with personal and professional development. All our staff are Garda Vetted. Also within our team we have a kitchen assistant, cleaners, receptionist, financial controller, maintenance and CE childcare trainees. If you require any further information please contact us.

Today our children enjoyed a lovely surprise when the ice cream van arrived! Sharing special experiences like this helps create lasting memories, encourages social interaction and, most importantly, brings lots of smiles. We hope everyone enjoyed their tasty treat! 🌞🍦

We close today at 5.45pm and reopen Monday the 10th of August at our usual time of 7.45am. We hope all our children enjoy their time off and our incredible staff enjoy a much needed break.

We look forward to seeing you all again soon along with our new manager Deirdre starting with us - we can’t wait for her to join our team
