It’s hard to believe it’s that time of year again! Never ever let a child be stuck.. they can come and wait for a lift here in our seating area and start their homework if a parent is running late.

* LC and LCA results *

Not that we need a reminder that the Leaving Certificate and LCA Results will be released at 10.00 a.m TOMORROW but just in case....

The school will be open if anyone wants to come in to see their results in person or to celebrate! We have no doubt that the results will be fantastic but remember, they don't define you.

We are so proud of each and every one of our students and appreciate the huge contribution they made to our school community. We wish you all the very best in your next chapter but remember that we are always here, if we can help with anything.

🎒 Back to School Clothing and Footwear Allowance 2026

Did you know?
The Back to School Clothing and Footwear Allowance is now open, and for the first time, eligible children aged 2 and 3 are now included.

This year the payment is:

👟 €160 for eligible children aged 2 to 11

📚 €285 for eligible children aged 12 to 22

The scheme opened on 3 June 2026 and applications close on 30 September 2026. Many families will receive the payment automatically, but if you do not receive a notification and think you may qualify, you can apply through MyWelfare.

We hope all the right questions come up and you leave the exam hall feeling wonderful. The hard work is done; all that's left to do is to go in and wow the examiners.

*Athletics in AMC*

Well done to all our students who took part at Connacht Athletics last week.

Special congrats to Chloe Lutter 🥈in the minor girls race walk and Mya Kelly 🥉in the minor girls 100m.

Special mention to our two javelin throwers who only took up the sport a few weeks ago and just missed qualification for nationals: Tattianna Shaughnessy 5th and James O'Connor 6th.
