Our 5th Year English students enjoyed a special treat today with a trip to the library to relax with a good book and explore some fantastic local artwork.
This reward comes off the back of their extraordinary Hamlet Board Game Projects they created to showcase their analysis of their Shakespeare studies.

Wishing the very best of luck to 5th Year student Katie Devaney, who sets off for Verona, Italy tomorrow, October 22nd! 🇮🇹✨

Katie was selected by EYP Ireland as one of just three students to represent the country as part of Ireland’s international European Youth Parliament delegation!

Starting October 23rd, Katie will spend two days collaborating and tackling Europe’s most pressing agricultural issues on the Agri Committee. On the final day, she will debate and present her committee’s resolutions to the entire assembly.
This incredible opportunity comes after Katie earned official international member status with EYP Ireland. We are so proud of your hard work and achievement, Katie—best of luck in Verona! 👏🇪🇺🇮🇪

🇩🇪🇩🇪Today we say "Auf Wiedersehen"to our 24 Exchange students from 4 secondary schools in Straubing Bavaria in Germany. Straubing is Twin Town of Tuam.We enjoyed hosting them in South Campus in class, with fun, games, dancing & a mystery tour around Tuam. They got to experience School in Ireland & our way of life. Our students return to Straubing in March 2027 where they will experience the German culture as well as practice their German skills.
A huge thanks to the Tuam-Straubing Twinning committee for all their assistance. 🇩🇪🇩🇪
