We have something very special coming up and we are asking you to KEEP FRIDAY, 25TH SEPTEMBER FREE!

On Friday 25th September at 7pm, our wonderful school parents Michelle and Derek Cummins, owners of The Old Stand Pub in Trim, are hosting a fantastic charity head and beard shave in aid of our Autism Special Classes in Kilbride National School and the Autism Special Classes in Scoil Naomh Pádraig, Trim.

One of our own great parents, Stephen Smith, dad to Eli and Ollie, has taken on the challenge and will be having his head and beard shaved on the night! We want to say a huge THANK YOU to Stephen for getting behind this fundraiser and helping to raise much-needed funds for our children's special classes.

If you would like to support Stephen and his fundraising efforts, you can donate through his GoFundMe page here:

♾️ Support Stephen – Head & Beard Shave for Autism

But Stephen is not the only one getting involved! There are so many fantastic people from our school, Trim and beyond who are stepping up to support our children.

We are also incredibly proud of Dean Henley, the driving force and one of the main organisers behind this fantastic fundraiser, who, alongside Aoibheann Kelly, is taking on the Dublin City Marathon in aid of our Special Classes here in Kilbride and in Naomh Pádraig in Trim. Their dedication, commitment and generosity are truly inspiring, and we cannot thank them enough for going above and beyond to support our children and our school. What an incredible challenge and such a wonderful way to make a difference!

It really is great to see so many people getting behind our children and our school.

So, parents, please keep Friday 25th September FREE and come along to The Old Stand at 7pm to support Stephen, Dean and all of the amazing participants who are taking part in these fundraising efforts.

There will be plenty going on throughout the night, including:

Head & beard shaving
Live music from Ken & Trevor
Food
Raffles
Auction
Lots of fun and craic!

If you are feeling brave and would like to put yourself forward for the head or beard shave, please contact the school office. We would love to see even more of our school community getting involved!

We hope to see a huge turnout on the night and a show of support for Stephen, Dean and all of the brave participants who are giving their time and their hair for such a worthwhile cause. Your support on the night would be greatly appreciated.

This fundraiser will make a real difference by helping to provide much-needed resources for our Autism Special Classes and the Autism Special Classes in Scoil Naomh Pádraig

A massive thank you to Michelle and Derek, Stephen, Dean and every single person who has volunteered, donated or supported these fundraisers. The support for our children has been absolutely incredible, and we are so grateful.

Please keep the date free – bring your family and friends, come along, have some fun and let's get behind Stephen, Dean and everyone who is supporting our children!
