It is our aim to give our children the basic training they need so that they will grow up to be integrated and se

lf reliant. This training is spiritual, moral, intellectual, emotional, physical, social and academic. Our school aims to create a climate of trust and love with staff supportive of each other and each child valued as an individual. We welcome the co-operation and involvement of the school community and parish. There is a strong sense of community and a high level of cooperation between staff, pupils, parents and visitors. Our school has a Catholic Ethos as outlined in our mission statement which is displayed in the schools foyer

This week, we held our final St. Michael’s Assembly to mark the retirements of Ms. Reid, Ms. Shelly, and our wonderful Principal, Ms. Gorry.

Thank you all for your years of dedication, commitment, and care. Your contributions have had a lasting impact on our school community, and you will be greatly missed.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026 and the final graduating class of St. Michael’s! 🎓

Last night, our sixth-class pupils and students from our special classes celebrated a wonderful graduation ceremony. It was a memorable occasion, filled with pride, joy, and reflection on all they have achieved.

We are incredibly proud of each and every one of you and wish you every success as you begin the next chapter of your journey.

6th class boys enjoyed another day at Trim Pitch and Putt Club last week. Ben's grandfather, Larry Mc Entee, kindly treated the boys to the training sessions as a gift before they leave St. Michael's N.S. this week. He also donated some prizes, which added to the fun and light-hearted competition on the day. Thank you very much to Larry for his kindness and to Trim Pitch and Putt Club for their welcoming hospitality once again.

Sports Day took place today! 🏅

Although the weather wasn’t cooperate, everyone still had a fantastic day enjoying golf, basketball, inflatable target practice and obstacle courses.

“Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)" was performed for the very last time by the St. Michael's Choir today in St. Patrick's Church, Trim, County Meath.
This beautiful and emotional performance formed part of the Thanksgiving Ceremony marking the end of an era for St. Michael’s School as it begins a new chapter through its amalgamation with Saint Mary’s to form Scoil Naomh Pádraig.
A special thanks to Ms. Gorry, principal of the School and Director of the Choir on her many years of dedicated service. We wish her well in her retirement!
