In 2008 we started to offer our activities through the Irish Language.Irish Language Surf & Activity Instructors offer :
Surfáil, Dúshláin Foirne, Clár Coirp, Siúlóidí Eiceolaíochta, Blokartáil
Surfing, Team Challenges, Bodyboarding, Blokarting and Ecology Hikes. This would not have been poss

ible without the help from local Irish speakers, Irish Teachers and friends. We are continually learning and enjoying the process .We are an Irish Surfing Association approved centre, supported by Foras na Gaeilge and Sponsored by Billabong

Freedom Surf School & Language Activity Centre is tucked away in an authentic Irish setting surrounded by small cottages just a stones throw from Tramore's Amazing Blue Flag Beach offering a safe and fun environment . Former Irish Surfing Team rider and founder of Freedom has been surfing for over 35 years. Billy Butler and his wife Pam a Youth Counsellor work side by side to bring their passion of the outdoors to all. The Freedom Team consists of Qualified Outdoor Activity Instructors in Surfing, Land yachting, Nordic Walking. Ecologists, Language Teachers & Beach Lifeguards . We cater to:
Primary & Secondary Schools,Individuals, Groups,
We offer : School Tour Programmes. Residential Courses. Weekend Activity Breaks.Half Day & Full Day Programmes
Weekend Camps , One and two Weekly Summer Camps. Join us at the Cottage where Billy was born, Facilities now include , Kitchen Coffee Doc, male & female changing rooms,Hot Showers, Indoor Activity Lecture rooms, Indoor & Outdoor Picnic / Lunch Areas. I'm delighted to receive this award for all Team at Freedom.

We have been working hard over the last number of years to incorporate the Irish language into our buisness, its been a Joyful challenge but it has been well worth the effort.

A really BIG THANKS to all the staff who really stepped up and embraced the challenge.
