Heritage Week 2026 at Muckross Traditional Farms 🌿

From vintage vehicles and traditional crafts to blacksmithing, woodwork, storytelling, Irish music and dance, there’s a fantastic programme of events taking place at The Schoolhouse from August 16th–23rd.

Most events are FREE, with something different to discover throughout the week.

Plus, enjoy reduced admission to Muckross House and Muckross Traditional Farms on Sunday 16th and Sunday 23rd August.

Save the dates and join us in celebrating Ireland’s heritage, traditions and craftsmanship at Muckross.

Sending our condolences and love to the O’Shea family on the sad passing of Mike. Mike was a wonderful singer, musician and a founding member of Siamsa Tíre, The National Folk Theatre of Ireland.
Such a positive, humble and generous man, he will be greatly missed. Fear uasal ab ea é. Suaimhneas síoraí ort, Mike.
