This participative seminar/ live-stream event will include presentations and workshops led by international OE practitioners from Canada, the UK & Finland and by students of the B.A. in Outdoor Learning. The event will be hosted at ITTralee and available to stream online. This is a teaching and learning day from the BA in Outdoor Learning, a work-based learning degree from ITTralee. Presenters on the day will include Professor TA Loeffler from Memorial University,Newfoundland , Canada; Dr. Mark Leather, Senior lecturer in Outdoor Adventure Education at Marjon University, Plymouth, UK; Dr. Anita Saaranen-Kauppinen, Principle Lecturer in Adventure Education at Humak University of Applied Sciences, Finland.
Students of the BA in Outdoor Learning will deliver poster presentations on international practices in Outdoor Education and their potential application in Ireland.
