Ms. Gillian loved
setting up a wonderful classroom this week! It took months to clear out old computers, reconfigure electrically and on broadband/WiFi, SMART board, laptops etc 🙌.

Throughout the summer, and recent years, our wonderfully gifted Stephen Foale- caretaker/ helper and skilled all-round fixer and creator, has kept Ms. Mary and staff sane! Two great years!
Staff were blown away by his superb and careful work, when we all gathered yesterday. 😊

Jody Everett, prof. painter- and what an incredibly kind accommodation by Jody to make time for us this summer, despite his busy schedule.
Incredible ceiling repairs, and more, post electrical works (which have been ongoing since November 2025).

Both Stephen and Jody worked in tandem for weeks. Deeply appreciated by our B.O.M., C.P.A. and school staff.

Yes, there is more to be done, but all our staff wish to thank both men for their painstaking work, in advance of our whole school reopening on Monday! 😊

We converted our old P.E Equipment Room into a very calming and magical Sensory Room.😍 🥰😊

All our P.E. and O.T. equipment is stored in our former stage space in the hall.
Many thanks to Tom and team from Lots Furnishings Tralee for our new storage space! What a team! It's wonderful!

Special thanks to Robert and Elaine of Murray's Medical Equipment for fitting out our Sensory Room. We are delighted for our pupils!

Bedtime now, for all our wonderful new Junior Infants. We are mightily impressed by how they strided down our 4 steps, with confidence, independently, this morning.

We wonder did all the balloons arrive home safely too, as Ms Mary had to leap high to retrieve one in Ms Adrienne's room, as they prepared to leave, after a great morning.
Ms Mary and Ms Adrienne hope that all our Junior Infants (and balloons 😆) are heading to bed now.

🎉 Such excitement today as we welcomed our new junior infant boys and girls to Caherleaheen. It was a very busy morning exploring and settling in to Ms Adrienne's class, ready for their big adventure in primary school! As a special treat, they were the first children to test out our brand new playground too!! Looking forward to seeing everyone on Monday 🙌

We are so excited and looking forward to greeting our Junior Infants and families tomorrow morning! 🥰

All pupils in all classes will bounce back on Monday, le cúnamh Dé! 🥱😆

This video-story is just for all the Mammies, Daddies, Guardians and our school's Community and neighbours. Put the kettle on! 🫖

We hope that all our pupils and especially tomorrow's young V.I.P.s 'get a go' on our new playground, weather willing!

We think all the children will enjoy watching this on Monday evening, with their families. (A Skills Night 🙌)

WOW! Did you know that 22 incredible dancers, from The Academy Of Dance from all across County Kerry are heading to the Finals in Dublin today, to proudly represent our country?! One of our own Caherleaheen National School girls is on this incredible national team! 🥳

Amelia!! 💚 💃 🎶

(She's representing Caherleaheen's weekly Dance Friday yard enthusiasts , too! 😍)

Team Ireland will compete in Acro Dance and Classical categories.

School's out for SUMMER! Are you ready?🥳🎊🌞☀️

Well, our Junior and Senior Infants are certainly ready for theirs! They are experts at setting up camp,⛺️⛺️🎪 organising teddy bear picnics 🧸🧺and tending to their plants, with a little help from Ms. Adrienne and Ms. Eveleen, of course.😅😃
