Ms. Cronin’s class had a wonderful time getting outdoors and exploring the trees around us! The children became nature detectives, collecting leaves from trees native to Ireland and using a leaf identification key to work out which trees they came from. 🔎🍃

We then got creative with our collections and made some lovely leaf rubbings, discovering the different shapes, patterns and textures of each leaf. 🎨🍂

It was a fantastic opportunity to learn about our local environment while having fun outdoors. We were very impressed with the children’s observation skills and enthusiasm! 🌿😊
