This week, our younger aged rooms had some Easter fun making lovely footprint artwork to take home.
We hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable Easter Break. We reopen on Tuesday for more fun.

This week in Sunflowers was all about Easter! 🐣 We brought out the tuff tray, and the children decorated eggs with pom-poms, buttons, and beads. They used tweezers to pick up the pieces, giving them a great chance to practise their fine motor skills.

They also made fantastic 3D chicks that hatch from eggs — very cool! 😎 And of course, they coloured some lovely Easter pictures. We had another tuff tray filled with eggs, chicks, and bunnies 🐰 for lots of imaginative play.

Today we had our Easter party, complete with plenty of chocolate and an exciting egg hunt! 🐣 A big thank-you to everyone who donated to LauraLynn Children’s Charity. There was great style around the building today — we loved seeing all the Easter colours, bunnies, chicks, and of course everyone in their cosy PJs.

This week was all about getting ready for our St Patrick’s Day parade which we had this morning around the green. All the children were in their green colours, Davena was decked out as the man himself and the weather held off. Lots of parents arrived to see the fun.
The children were also busy preparing gifts and artwork for Mothers Day.

Last week was jam packed.

We started our St Patrick's Day art by painting some pots of gold ☘️.

We celebrated World Book Day on Thursday and everyone was so impressive dressed in their costumes.

We had some very special visitors on Friday when the Animal Roadshow came to see us. We welcomed misty the snake, mike the bearded dragon, fizz the tortoise, beaker the owl and a baby bunny called marshmallow 🐍 🐰 🦉.

We also learned about Ireland, set up a farmers market, made a sheep using cotton wool and grass. AND We practiced saying a cupla focal as part of Seachtain na Gaeilge.

More creativity in our after school room with Gillian Tobin this week as they made SunCatchers. There were some great design ideas from the children.

This week, the Toddler Room created a Chinese colours inspired tuff tray with dyed noodles. They used tongs to pick them up, thereby developing their fine motor skills. They made a lovely Chinese lantern card to bring home. Happy Chinese New Year everyone.

This week in Preschool we explored The Desert🐪
We painted and decorated our Cacti 🌵. We made play dough and made our very best Cacti using craft sticks. We explored the animals that live in the Desert. 🦎 🦂
We played with sand in the tuff tray and we dressed up as (very cute 😀) Desert explorers
We also learned Sally the Camel.

Smoothie Time is always fun with our Preschool Children who love to join in. They love the different flavours and tastes.
