After five fantastic years with Tipperary Town Revitalisation, it's time to wish a fond farewell to a truly valued colleague as she moves on to an exciting new role.
Throughout her time with TTR, she has been an amazing asset to the team. Her dedication, professionalism, and natural ability to work with people have made a real difference to our work and the community we serve.
She will be greatly missed, but we know she will bring the same energy and enthusiasm to her new position. Wishing her every success and happiness in this next chapter. Thank you Ceola from all at TTR.

We recently received funding from Tipperary Credit Union under their community fund. https://www.tipperarycu.ie/community-fund/ to carry out some short-term remedial works in the Plan (Redmond Square)

We are currently sanding and repainting the benches, cleaning up the bandstand and carrying out some landscaping.

Thank you to Nick our wonderful painter, to Siobhan Landers from the West End Residents Assocation and to Cllr Annemarie Ryan for pulling it together.

We are very grateful to the Credit Union for the funds to improve this beloved community space.

Photos are of works underway, and we'll post updated photos when the job is complete.

We are also completing the final design on the bigger project to regenerate this area. The plans / and particulars will be published in the Autumn as part of Part 8 Planning Requirements.

We'll keep you updated.

Tipperary Town Revitalisation is delighted to announce that Tipperary Town has been selected as one of fifteen locations nationwide to receive support under the new Síol Programme, announced today by Minister Dara Calleary TD, Minister of State Jerry Buttimer TD and Minister of State Sean Canney TD.

The programme is designed to support initiatives in urban areas experiencing the highest levels of disadvantage. While the specific allocation for Tipperary Town has not yet been confirmed, today’s announcement provides for a total investment of €5 million across the fifteen selected areas in 2026, with a further €30 million committed up to 2030.

This important development follows several years of research, consultation and advocacy undertaken by Tipperary Town Revitalisation. Throughout this period, we have worked to compile and present detailed socioeconomic data to highlight the challenges facing the town and to demonstrate the need for dedicated, multi-annual funding to address social deprivation.

A key element of this work was the commissioning of the recent TASC Report, which provided robust evidence of the social and economic challenges facing Tipperary Town, together with a comprehensive set of recommendations to address them. The report formed part of a submission made earlier this year to the Department in partnership with Tipperary County Council.

We welcome this recognition of the needs and potential of Tipperary Town and look forward to engaging with stakeholders as the programme develops.

Further details on the funding allocation and next steps will be communicated as they become available.
