🌟 Summer Camp Fun! 🌟

Our 1st & 2nd Class pupils had a fantastic second week of summer camp filled with fun, laughter and plenty of exciting activities! 😄☀️🎉

The children enjoyed a wonderful trip to 🐑🌾 Marlhill Open Farm, visited 🍕👩‍🍳 Supermacs where they baked their own delicious pizzas, had great fun at the 🛝 playground, took a lovely walk to the ⛰️ Tipperary Hills, and finished off with a tasty ice cream🍦

Back at school, they also enjoyed lots of exciting activities, including 🎨 painting, 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ obstacle courses and 🎲 games.

It was a lovely way to finish out the school year, with everyone making wonderful memories together 💙✨

We wish all of our pupils, families and staff a happy and safe summer! ☀️🌼😎

Our 1st & 2nd Class pupils have had a fantastic first week of Summer Camp! 🌞

They’ve been busy enjoying a wide range of exciting activities, including a visit to the local fire station, yoga, science experiments, kite making, baking and tackling fun obstacle courses 🎨🧪🚒🧘‍♀️

Yesterday was a real highlight as we headed to the cinema to watch Toy Story 5! 🍿🎬

What a brilliant start to camp! We can’t wait to see what exciting adventures are in store for Week Two 😊

📜🏛️ 6th Class History Trail 2026 🏛️📜

Our 6th Class pupils enjoyed a fascinating two-day History Trail exploring the rich heritage of Tipperary. 🔵🟡

📍 Day One included visits to New Tipperary, Dillon Street and Emmet Street, where the children learned about the Plan of Campaign, the Military Barracks and local stories from times gone by.

⛰️ On Day Two, pupils visited the Cup and Saucer and the Famine Graveyard, reflecting on the impact of the Great Famine and learning about important local historical sites, including the memorial to Michael Edmonds. 🕯️🌿

📚 It was a wonderful opportunity to bring history to life.

👏 A special thank you to Ms. Leahy who helped make this year’s History Trail such an enjoyable and educational experience.

🎓✨ A huge congratulations to our amazing 6th Class girls on their graduation today! 💙🌟

It was a wonderful celebration of their time at St Michael’s GNS and all the memories they have made along the way. 🎉📚💫

A big thank you to Ms Connolly for organising such a special occasion, our fantastic Parents’ Council for their support, and to for the beautiful balloons and decorations that helped make the day extra special. 🎈🎓💐

We also extend our appreciation to two dedicated Parents’ Council members whose daughters are now moving on to secondary school. Thank you for your years of commitment and support 💙👏

Best of luck to our 6th Class girls as they begin their next adventure! 🙏

💙💛 A Special Farewell to Our 6th Class Girls 💛💙

At our final school assembly, pupils had the opportunity to say a special farewell to our wonderful 6th Class girls as they prepare to complete their journey at St. Michael’s GNS 🌟

It was a lovely and emotional moment as we reflected on all they have achieved over the past eight years of primary school. We are incredibly proud of each and every one of them and the kindness, friendship, leadership and determination they have shown throughout their time with us ❤️

We now look forward to celebrating with them again at their graduation and marking this important milestone in their lives 🎓✨

As they prepare for the next stage of their educational journey, we wish them every success, happiness and opportunity in secondary school and beyond 📚

🌟🎉 June Assembly – Our Final Assembly of the School Year! 🎉🌟

Today we came together for our final assembly of the year. 💙💛 We revisited our Bí Cineálta Code, reflected on our pupil-friendly DEIS Plan and said our St. Michael’s Prayer 🙏✨

We celebrated lots of wonderful achievements, including fantastic success in Irish dancing 💃🏅 and recognised pupils with excellent attendance throughout the year. 📜👏 Certificates were awarded to pupils with fewer than 5 days’ absence all year – an amazing achievement! 🌟

⚽🏆 A special Player of the Match award was presented to a 6th Class pupil for her outstanding performance in the soccer cup final.

🎶 1st Class entertained us with wonderful music, while Principal’s Awards were presented to pupils for living our school values: Being kind❤️, being patient😊, good manners 🤝 and including others 🙏

👏🌟 Well done to all our award winners and to every pupil for making this a fantastic school year! 💙💛🎉

Throughout the year, their brilliant ideas 💡✨ have helped make our school an even better place. 🏫💙

We are especially proud that their DEIS attendance slogan, “Be in the line for 5 to 9” & “Learn today, shine tomorrow” 📚⭐, will feature on a new sign at our school gate from September! 🎉
