Today we said goodbye to our wonderful Tooqinn kids for what may be the last time. We are devastated and heartbroken that after 5 and a half years of hard work and dedication, our business may have to close permanently in such a cruel and sad way.
To our Tooqinn parents, all we can say is Thank you. Thank you for all the support and patience you have shown us both throughout these last few years. We mean it with all our hearts that minding your kids has brought us so much joy and happiness and watching them grow has been a pleasure.
We will continue searching for a suitable premises for as long as we possibly can. And we will keep fighting to save our business.

A massive thank you to Martin McHugh who wrote to the Tipperary Echo about our situation. We appreciate all the support we’ve been given over the past four weeks. We have yet to find a suitable premises or have any reply from the school. But our fight is not over and we will continue to fight to save our business

Almost three weeks since we received the devastating news and we have yet to have any reply or correspondence from the Board of Management or any Senior Staff.

STILL NO RESPONSE 💔
It breaks our heart that we have yet to have any correspondence from the school and therefore may have to officially close our doors. Tooqinn Kids Club has been our proudest achievement not just because we built this business from scratch but because of the love we have for each child that uses it and watching them grow throughout the years has been a privilege.
Thank you to Annemarie for continuing to help us fight this stressful battle we are experiencing. And a massive thank you to Martin Quinn for starting the petition and for all the advice you’ve given. While we both may be feeling extremely low at the moment, we still have fight left in us and will try to not give up hope.

This is not a small after-school operation.

* 64 children currently attending.
* 80+ expected in September.
* 40 children already booked for Summer Camp.
* Up to 6 staff employed (including the co-owners).
* €15,000 invested in the cabin on site.
* Two years successfully operating on site.

Still NO response from School Board of Management.
