TUS Applied Strength and Conditioning Programme provides BSc and MSc degrees in professional Strength & Conditioning coaching.
TUS offers Bachelor of Science degree Level 7 and Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree Level 8 in Sports Strength and Conditioning coaching. Students will be prepared for ITEC Professional qualifications in personal training and gym instruction as well as weightlifting and UK strength and conditioning exams. Course offers a unique insight into performance development for athlete, players and sports teams. Apply through CAO application forms.

Excellent talks today from current and graduate students on their placement and their current roles.
We had Kenneth speaking about his current role in Athletic Development with Munster Rugby.
Then Adam, Eoin & Ken took us through their placement last year in StJohn Bosco High School in LA, USA.
Kevin then spoke to us about his time in Fordham University in NYC, US.
Lastly, graduate David Doody took us through his current role as S&C Intern with Leinster Rugby.

Congratulations to TUS Applied Strength and Conditioning graduates Angelo Walsh & Maggie O'Grady who were part of the Tipperary GAA backroom team (in S&C, and Video Analysis respectively) that defeated Offaly in a dramatic finish to win the 2022 All Ireland Minor Hurling Final! Well done guys! 👏👏

Week 3 and we are almost back to a routine … Damien demonstrates stability drills with first years moving the body while changing base of support, centre of mass and counter balances … Philip runs the second years through a 40m beep test, a few made level 20 with one student bringing in a respectable level 22. .. up the top of the sportslab is Donnacha with the third years doing a power session with 20m sprints to be followed by VBT back squats …

We have the Weightlifting Ireland Intervarsities Competition coming up the end of the month and because it hasn't run since 2019 there's no qualifier so any student can effectively enter a National Level event ! TUS Sports will cover entry.
