Everyone at Tipperary FET College Railway Road Thurles would like to wish former student Denise Harding from Clonoulty-Rossmore the very best of luck in the competition to select the Tipperary representative for the Rose of Tralee 2026. Since leaving us Denise has pursued further studies in Business, Broadcasting & Digital Media Design. Denise is now the host of Tipperary Mid West Radio’s weekday show ‘Evening Drive’ and has held the position of studio coordinator at Ballywire Media. Denise is heavily involved in youth advocacy & volunteering, Denise has been a member of the SpunOut.ie South-East Panel and more recently, the Children’s Advisory Panel for the RTE Toy Show Appeal with Community Foundation Ireland.
We are all so proud of Denise's achievements and want to wish her the very best of luck.

Sports Science students in our Tertiary degree programme at Archerstown recently completed five weeks of coaching practice in Scoil Ailbhe, Thurles.

During the sessions, they had the opportunity to work with 5th class pupils, gaining valuable practical coaching experience in a real school setting.

A big thank you to Scoil Ailbhe and a special thanks to their teacher Denis McCullagh for the warm welcome and support throughout the programme.

Experiences like this are invaluable in helping our students develop their coaching skills and confidence.
