Daffodil Care Services provide residential and community based therapeutic services to young people and their families.

Daffodil Care Services was established in 2007 in response to an increased demand for residential and community based therapeutic services. We promote the values of therapeutic child and youth care in a safe environment where the young person and their family are at the centre of all planning, all activities, all decision-making, all interventions and all review processes. Our Vision:
We believe young people have the right to the best possible care to achieve their full potential. We believe this is best achieved through a continuum of care, supported by a highly skilled and highly trained team with a clearly defined therapeutic model of care.

Start Your Social Care Journey with INVOLVE!

At Daffodil Care, we believe a great career starts with a great learning experience.

Our INVOLVE Programme gives students the opportunity to develop their knowledge, confidence and practical skills while completing their professional practice placement within a supportive social care environment.

Over ten weeks, students are involved at every level of learning, completing evidence-based tasks with the guidance of a trained supervisor and gaining both the practical and theoretical experience needed to prepare for the professional workplace.

With placements available across our range of residential and community-based services, INVOLVE is designed to help you take those important first steps towards a career in social care with confidence.

We accept students annually in September, January, March and throughout the summer period.

Meet Carlos Kelly our Group Service Director:

"I joined Daffodil Care Services in 2007 and was fortunate to be part of the development of The Pines, our first service. As Centre Manager, I helped establish and grow the service during its formative years before moving into an Operational Manager role as Daffodil expanded its presence across Wexford.

Over the years, I have been involved in many exciting developments, including the creation and evolution of our STEM Model of Care. Seeing the model grow from an innovative concept to a college-accredited programme has been one of the most rewarding milestones of my career.

Today, as Group Service Director, I continue to focus on supporting the growth and quality of our services, strengthening positive outcomes for young people, and developing opportunities for both our teams and the wider organisation.

For me, Daffodil is about people. Whether working in a residential centre, managing operational projects, or supporting organisational development, I have always been surrounded by dedicated colleagues who share a passion for making a difference.

The most rewarding part about working at Daffodil is seeing people succeed. That means seeing young people achieve positive outcomes, supporting colleagues to develop professionally, and helping young people access opportunities provided by the Daffodil Foundation.

Those moments make the work truly meaningful."
