Peter Ryan who led the chamber orchestra at our Culture Night in County Hall for the SubSounds single Point The Gun - has just been chosen as head of the National British Youth Orchestra. I taught Peter as a first year student in a previous incarnation. He has always been a very special talent. Very very proud of Peter and very happy for Clare Ronan and the whole family! Fabulous!!!!

From all of us in the Conservatoire, a HUGE congratulations to Junior Conservatoire student, Peter Ryan (17), on his appointment as leader of the National Youth Orchestra (UK). Peter continues from strength to strength, as the inaugural recipient of the Kawai-Pianos Plus Bursary last November, and now the first Irish leader appointed to the National Youth Orchestra (UK)! We wish him all the best for the future and will always watch on with pride! Bravo Peter!!
