Threshold Training Network provides training to people that have self experience of emotional distress/mental health difficulties. Our full-time training programme in "Employability Skills" is funded by the ETB and offers students on this course the opportunity to explore employment or further education options through FETAC/QQI accredited modules. The most important wellbeing tip of all is to prioritize consistent, high-quality sleep. Sleep acts as the fundamental foundation for all other aspects of physical, mental, and emotional health.

Why Sleep Rules Them All

Brain Cleanup: Your brain clears out metabolic waste while you sleep.

Emotional Regulation: Poor sleep directly impairs the amygdala, spiking stress and anxiety.

Immune Power: Sleep deprivation slashes the production of infection-fighting antibodies.

Cell Repair: Muscles, tissues, and blood vessels heal primarily during deep sleep stages.

Hormone Balance: Lack of sleep disrupts leptin and ghrelin, triggering intense sugar cravings.
