Funeral arrangements for our dear Aoibheann 🤍

It is with the greatest sadness that we express our condolences on the untimely death of our dear past pupil Aoibheann Clarke.

Words do not convey the deep sense of loss across Caroreigh and the wider Taghmon / Camross community today. Aoibheann was an absolute treasure. Her sporting talents were well renowned and were in abundance from a very early age in SGNS. She was a dynamic presence on our Rackard League teams, a great, sociable classmate; and a beautiful soul.

We cherish the memories of her years in primary school and are privileged to have spent that time with her. Our thoughts and prayers go to Carol, Declan, Emma and Aimee and the wider family, teammates and friends.

Week 2 of our Summer Programme Part 2 ☀️

Week 2 of our summer programme has been fantastic. The kids have had an absolute ball and made the most of the glorious weather ☀️
We had a great time racing sticks and playing in the park in Foulksmills, went back to Apex New Ross for a swim, watered our seeds, had a great day in Secret Valley feeding the animals and exploring and paid a visit to Wexford Playzone to finish off the week.
Huge thanks to Maria’s Cupán Tae, Foulksmills (who fed us twice!) and all staff who made it a huge success 😊

The first week of our Summer Programme has been fantastic fun 😊 we’ve visited so many places (Min Ryan park, Playbarn New Ross, Apex New Ross for a swim) and we’ve used our new sandpit, chalk on the yard, planted & watered our seeds, had breakfast club each morning, made Rice Krispie buns, had a walk & picnic at St. Garvan’s Well and so many other activities - it’s been so busy. Hopefully next week will be just as much fun!

💚 We are incredibly proud of our school for earning our new Green Flag! Three of our Green-Schools committee members travelled to Hotel Kilkenny to attend the award ceremony and receive our Global Citizenship – Marine Environment Green Flag. This achievement reflects the hard work and commitment of our entire school community, and we can’t wait to raise the flag at our school. 🐠💚
