Swords Toastmasters is a club that helps people to develop their public speaking and leadership skills in a fun and supportive environment. Some join to progress their careers or to perform better at that ever important interview and succeed in getting that job. Perhaps you want to practice for workplace presentations or that all important upcoming wedding speech. Swords Toastmaster is the Club fo

r you. We are part of Toastmasters International, a non-profit organisation dedicated to helping people improve their confidence, communication and leadership abilities. A toastmasters club is a 'learn by-doing' workshop in which men and women develop their speaking skills. A typical club has 20 to 30 members, who meet every second week to learn and practice their speech and presentation techniques. Swords club meets in the Carnegie Court Hotel, Swords, on every second Monday at 8.00pm, Visitors are always welcome (free of charge) and refreshments are served at the interval. Visitors should be over 18 years of age.
