Ever sent someone what they asked for — and then realised it wasn't quite what they meant? 😄

That's exactly how this job started. A customer from Donaghmead got in touch asking for a cutout of his company logo. We mocked it up in birch ply and sent it over. Turns out, he needed a reusable spray-paint stencil, not a wall mount.

No bother. We switched direction, redesigned it for stencil use, and cut it from 300 micron Mylar. The result? A clean, durable A4 stencil he can use over and over again.

His review: "Worth every penny. No regrets."

We loved working on this one. Happy Cubs Swimming Schools came to us needing something special for their staff — Teacher of the Year and Coordinator of the Year awards that actually felt like them. So we laser-cut these beautiful birch plywood plaques with their signature bear silhouettes worked right into the design. We recently made 150 custom wooden medals for the Irish Windsurfing Association's 2026 championship events — and the orders have kept coming in ever since! 🏅

Each medal is laser cut and engraved from birch plywood, then UV printed with full colour detail. The back is personalised for each specific race — event name, location, and finishing position. No two batches are exactly the same.

It's the kind of project we really enjoy here at TechCreate. Practical, personal, and built to last.

Some jobs carry more weight than others. 💙

A customer recently came to us at TechCreate needing a photo engraved slate — 500mm x 370mm. It was a memorial piece, and like all the memorial work we do, it got our full attention from start to finish. We tested settings on scrap slate first, confirmed the layout before engraving, and packaged everything securely for delivery.

Slate is beautiful for this kind of tribute. It lasts outdoors through Irish weather without fading.

We love a project that makes us think a little differently — and this one delivered. A customer sent us a pine table and asked us to engrave a classic chess board design onto the top. Clean, functional, and completely custom.

We sized everything in Lightburn, did a test engrave on the underside first (always worth it with pine), and had it finished and shipped within 2 working days. He was delighted — and left us a lovely 5-star review to prove it.

We just completed one of our most satisfying projects to date — 268 custom braille signs for a commercial building in Cork! 🙌

Every single sign was laser engraved on two-tone laminate, with raised braille dots printed using UV resin technology. We even added 3M adhesive backing and individual labelling to make installation easy for the team on the ground.

The best part? The building got to open its doors fully compliant with accessibility regulations. That's exactly the outcome we work for.
