As part of the Sligo Baroque Festival 2026, the wonderful Baroque violinists Jenna Raggett and Nicola Cleary performed a concert of ‘Gulliver’s Travels’ to the Infants and 1st Classes. This was a very interactive and educational experience for all the children and we are very grateful for this opportunity 🎻🎻🎶

We were absolutely thrilled this morning as we congratulated two of our amazing 6th Class pupils on their outstanding success in the National Community Games Finals in Carlow at the weekend. We were so happy to celebrate their incredible achievement, with each taking home gold, coming 1st place in Ireland -Matthew in U-12 Art and Ben in U-14 Model Making. Their creativity, talent, dedication and hard work have truly paid off, and we could not be prouder of them.

Indeed we are incredibly proud of every child throughout the school both past and present, who competed in both individual and team events, representing our community and county with such enthusiasm, determination and sportsmanship. Reaching national level is an outstanding achievement.

Whether they won a medal or simply gave their very best, every single child should feel immensely proud of what they have achieved. Their hard work, commitment and team spirit are truly inspiring.
