📚✨ A Literary Adventure for 3rd Class! ✨📚

Ms. Garvey’s 3rd Class enjoyed a fantastic trip to the library to meet author Dave Rudden! The visit was engaging and enjoyable, and the children loved listening to his hilarious and spooky fictional stories. 👻📖

On our walk, we put on our ‘Maths Eyes’ 👀🔢 and discovered that maths is all around us! From shapes and patterns to numbers in our everyday surroundings, we found maths everywhere we looked.

A wonderful day full of stories, laughter, and active learning ✨📚🤗💯

Ms Mahon’s Senior Infants have been exploring length for Maths Week. The children made towers and then ordered them from tallest to smallest!
They also got their thinking caps on as they had to think of what they could draw from a circle…there were some very impressive creations! Well done everyone!!

🤸‍♀️ Gymnastics is underway at Scoil Ursula!

Our Infant and First Classes were delighted to begin their six-week gymnastics programme with Sharon this week!

Lots of fun, movement and excitement as the children develop their balance, coordination and confidence.

Our senior classes will get their turn later in the school year.

A big thank you to Sharon for a fantastic start! 💙
