Anne Carton's Creche A Montessori preschool and Creche behind Sligo Retail Park, near Carraroe Sligo celebrating 40 years We are 5 minutes from Sligo town centre and on a bus route.

At this creche,we cater for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, after school care and work in collaboration with staff, parents and community bodies to ensure effective communication and teamwork in a happy and secure environment for your children. We provide care for children from babies to 12 years of age according to the following age groups:

All day care (7.30am - 6pm)
Babies
Toddlers


Pre-school
After School Care
Summer Camps (2-4 years and 5-12 years)

Anne Carton's is open Monday to Friday, 7.30am - 6pm, 50 weeks a year. The Montessori session runs from 9.30 to 12.30. ECCE places available (38 week free pre-school). Speech and Drama classes with Eily Kilgannon are charged as an optional extra. For more information on our activities please see our website

Last Saturday, September 6th 2025, Anne Carton's Creche celebrated 40 years in business!

It was amazing to have with us parents who attended the creche themselves who are now back with their own children!

I would like to thank Sharon Boles from Sligo County Childcare Committee who opened our art exhibition and our celebrations on the day. I would also like to thank everyone who attended, sent congratulations and gave gifts.

I would also like to thank Party Party Time and Jump4Joy Bouncy Castles for providing entertainment for the children.

Finally, I would like to thank all the hardworking staff from Anne Carton's Creche for all their hard work on the day and the months leading up to the celebration.

As a mark of respect to the late Mrs Josephine Lyndon Carton, RIP (nee Woods) mother of Anne Carton, this service will be closed on Thursday 6th February, 2025 for the family funeral.
