Our undergraduate programme is based on the premise of creative and environmentally responsible re-imagining of our existing built fabric. We believe that discourse around the architectural re-use agenda will develop the potential and sustainability of our architecture into the future. The four year undergraduate programme aims to provide a strong foundation in critical thinking and practical desi

gn skills, based around the interactive studio, characterised by four core themes:
i. Interior - A vision of architecture where the interior environment is both influenced by, and influential upon, the architectural whole;
ii. Existing Buildings - A focus on new and exciting ways to re-imagine our existing built environment through utilizing a broad spectrum of adaptive re-use typologies;
iii. Place A connectedness to place through interpreting and responding to the characteristics embodied in existing buildings, with an awareness of the wider context and existing community and the occupation of space;
iv. Environment - Integrated technologically informed solutions which acknowledge environmental responsibility as an underlying philosophy for architectural design.

Great News!!! On the 8th of May 2013 we will be officially announcing that our undergraduate programme in Interior Architecture has been granted Part 1 Accreditation by the Royal Institute of British Architects. We will be only the second architectural programme in Ireland to achieve this international benchmark of quality for architectural education
