Today is a day to celebrate all of you who have taken action to fight for improved improved pay and conditions for our profession. Thank you to those who became activists; to those who stepped outside their comfort zone; to those who started discussions with colleagues; to those who took to the streets; to those who wrote emails, postcards, letters; to those who made phone calls; to those who lobbied; to those who signed membership forms and added their voice; to those who believed; to those who listened; to those who continuously motivated; to those who wouldn't give up; to those who dreamed.

Today is because of you. Tomorrow will be because of you and your colleagues. This profession is worth fighting for. MQ
