We were delighted to welcome a group of very talented students from Sanok in Poland 🇵🇱 who have been visiting Sligo for almost 10 years, all thanks to and some very dedicated teachers for a four-week work placement.

During their time here, the students gained valuable hands-on experience working in different areas - CNC machinists, Mechatronics, Electricians and IT to name but a few!
They showed great enthusiasm, strong skills, and a real willingness to learn.

It was a pleasure to have them with us
again and we hope the experience helped them grow both professionally and personally. We wish them the very best in their future careers and hope to see them back in Ireland again!

This week we welcomed our dear friends once again from Poland 🇵🇱 for a job shadowing experience within the Mechanical Engineering sector.

A huge thank you to the local companies that welcomed our teachers, where they had an opportunity to discuss the many differences between Ireland 🇮🇪 and Poland 🇵🇱 within their respective industry.

We took advantage of the longer evenings to see some special & interesting areas close to Sligo.

Wild Atlantic waves, long coastal walks, and a lively village vibe. Grab seaweed baths, coffee, or watch surfers ride in at sunset 🌅

🌄 4️⃣ Drive the Gleniff Horseshoe
One of Ireland’s most beautiful short scenic drives. Waterfalls, cliffs, and almost no crowds — pure magic.

🏛️ 5️⃣ Visit Lissadell House
Childhood home of W.B. Yeats. Explore the elegant house, walk the gardens, and soak up history with stunning mountain views behind.

A beautiful seaside spot with calm beaches, mountain backdrops, and views across Sligo Bay — perfect for swimming, strolling, or sunset photos.

💦 7️⃣ Stop at Glencar Waterfall
Technically in leitrim but a powerful waterfall made famous by Yeats. Easy to access and especially impressive after rain — a lovely peaceful stop.

🇫🇷 ✨ We Welcomed our last group of students for 2025 from France ! ✨🇮🇪

We were so excited to welcome the students for a 2 week internship in retail.
Every day they worked hard, expanded their skills, and gained invaluable experience — both professionally and culturally.

They also made the most of their free time, they visited the Christmas markets in Galway city and all the stunning & picturesque spots around stunning Sligo.

We wish them a safe journey home to Paris. ✈️ 🇫🇷

We welcomed back some of our old friends from Germany in October.🇩🇪
This was their 3rd visit to stunning Sligo. 🇮🇪

We were a bit camera shy at times but we all returned home earlier this week with mixed emotions. ✈️
We hope to see you all again some day
