A huge congrats to all the children as they were selected as the winner in the Connacht Primary School Category of the Jack B Yeats Painting and Memory Schools Competition. Thank you to Conor McElhinney for taking all of the pictures for the project. The artwork will also feature on the National Gallery of Ireland's website and social media channels. Our prize includes:

Voucher for transport costs to visit the Gallery, with activity included. Or an artist-led workshop in the school.
Art materials.
Framed reproduction of a work by Jack B. Yeats to hang in our classroom.

Again, thank you to all the pupils, parents and members of the local community for the huge effort with the school charity album. €1160 donated to the LauraLynn Foundation.

Here is a snippet of a beautiful letter we received to JEP HQ from the wonderful Ballinlig National School in Sligo! 💙💛

Their charity CD raised a whopping €1,160 for the LauraLynn Foundation!

They fulfilled their goal of becoming 'real-life Social Entrepreneurs' by using marketing & sales skills - and also their singing talents!

"We used many of our talents throughout the process including our artistic skills to design to CD cover and create colourful posters in the local community. We used our persuasive skills to sell the album in the local area and we even managed to sell CDs in Australia, Portugal and England."

Congratulation to all of our super star footballers who played brilliantly at the Sligo, Two Teacher School GAA Blitz. Well done to our girls team who have qualified for the Cumann na mBunscol Two Teacher Final which will take place in Markievicz Park.

Studying robotics using Lego. All of our pupils enjoyed the opportunity to exercise their scientific inquiry skills through direct hands on science, technology, engineering and maths activities.
