On Wednesday, our pupils headed out for an exciting day of learning, exploration, and physical activity around Ballina.
• Senior Class: Our Senior students had the opportunity to explore Ballina's new sensory park, enjoying the wonderful inclusive and interactive outdoor environment. Afterward, they headed over to Nadia Gym for an energetic and fun-filled gymnastics session.
• Junior Room: Meanwhile, our Junior room took a step into history and science by visiting the Jackie Clarke Collection. They took part in the fascinating Nature by Numbers workshop.
Thank you to all the venues for hosting our students for such a memorable Wednesday!

On Friday, 25th September, we said a very special goodbye to our wonderful school secretary, Issie.

From the first smile in the morning to the countless little things you did behind the scenes, you have been such an important part of our school family.
Our pupils have so many happy memories of you — the chats, the laughs, the help, the kindness and all those moments that made our school a special place.

You will be greatly missed by all the pupils, staff and families. Your kindness, care and dedication have left a lasting mark on our school.

Wishing you every happiness in this next chapter.

As we say goodbye, we are also delighted to warmly welcome our new secretary, Sinead McNulty, to Stokane National School. We are looking forward to getting to know you, making new memories together and having you as part of our school community.

A huge THANK YOU to Hollister Incorporated Ballina for their incredibly generous sponsorship of one of our new Computer Science & AI kits for LEGO League! 💙

As a small primary school with big dreams, we are so excited to get started and continue our learning through coding, robotics and AI. 🌟

We are so grateful for your support in helping us give our pupils opportunities to explore, create, question and dream big. 🚀

We can’t wait to see where this learning journey takes us!

A big thank you also to our past pupil, Shane Naughton, who works in Hollister, who kindly came back to school to take this lovely photo for us. 📸 It’s always special to welcome our past pupils back and see them supporting the school community! 💙

Today, the Junior Room hosted a wonderful art exhibition showcasing their collaborative projects inspired by the story Giraffes Can't Dance.

Working in groups, the children designed and created imaginative dance floors for different dance styles that Gerald the giraffe could use. From the planning stages to the finished displays, the creativity, teamwork and effort on show were fantastic.

The pupils invited the Senior Room to visit the exhibition and confidently presented their work in groups, explaining their ideas and creative choices. To finish the event, everyone was invited to join in with a dance, making it a fun and memorable experience for all!

Well done to all the children in the Junior Room for their excellent teamwork, creativity, and presentation skills. We are very proud of you all! 🌟👏💃🕺
