Here's 12 of the most common items flushed down the loo in Ireland.. are you guilty of flushing any these?
If so it's not too late.. install a bin in your bathroom and be sure to put the items there instead!! And remember only the 3 p's should go down the toilet!

Did you know Sligo and its surrounds is a 'Think Before You Flush Community' for 2020?
The campaign is all about what not to flush down the toilet e.g wipes and cotton buds.
It managed by Clean Coasts and supported by Irish Water.

Over the coming months GLAN Sligo will be asking businesses to promote this initiative through their establishments.

Did you know?
In Ireland, an estimated two million disposable coffee cups go into landfill everyday.

This works out at 22,000 every hour or 366 every minute :(

The cups are lined with plastic polyethylene, making them waterproof but not recyclable.
