What a brilliant day we had on our school tour to Gecko Adventures, Courtmacsherry☀️

The children enjoyed a fantastic day of giant paddle boarding, pier jumping, orienteering, archery and beach games. 🛶🏖️

The fun continued on the bus home with a lively karaoke session🎤

🏆 SCIATH NA SCOL CHAMPIONS! 🏆

Our pupils showed incredible determination, skill, resilience and respect throughout the day and represented our school with pride from start to finish.

A huge thank you to our amazing supporters. The sea of blue and white, along with the headbands, flags, bunting, signs and stickers, created a wonderful atmosphere and made the occasion so special for the children. Your continuous encouragement and support means so much and is greatly appreciated.

Thank you also to the organisers, referee, volunteers and everyone involved in making the competition such a positive experience for all the schools.

Well done to Dromclough NS on a great final and to all the teams who took part throughout the competition.

A day full of memories that our pupils will cherish for years to come. 💙🤍

Today we were delighted to receive our Blue Star Programme certificates, marking the successful completion of this year’s programme. 🇪🇺⭐

Throughout the year, pupils explored the history, geography, culture and institutions of the European Union through a wide range of engaging activities and projects. From learning about different EU countries to welcoming MEP Billy Kelleher to our school, it has been a fantastic learning journey for all involved 🥳

What a fantastic day on Sherkin Island! 🌊⛴️

We travelled over on the ferry and enjoyed a fun-filled day exploring the island. From building creative sandcastles on the beautiful Silver Strand beach, to enjoying delicious ice creams and visiting the historic friary, there was something for everyone to enjoy. 🏖️🍦

Our creative side was busy recently as we learned how to make our very own hair scrunchies! ✂️🧵

The pupils explored different fabrics, practised their sewing skills and carefully stitched their scrunchies together. There was great concentration, teamwork and creativity on display — and lots of stylish finished products too! 🌸🌈

A fantastic day at St. Colum’s Pitch in Kealkill for our Sciath na Scol blitz! ⚽️

Our pupils played four great matches and we are delighted to say that we are fortunate enough to be heading to the final!🎉

Well done to Cappabue NS, St. James NS, Bere Island NS and Dromclough NS for some excellent games throughout the day.
All pupils showed great teamwork, respect and sportsmanship, and most importantly, enjoyed themselves👏

Our pupils had a fantastic time taking part in an Easter Hunt at the Windmill Rock Amphitheatre!

Working together, the children explored their surroundings, searched high and low, and were delighted with their colourful discoveries. It was wonderful to see such teamwork, enthusiasm and joy as they gathered around to count and compare their finds.

A lovely way to celebrate the season while enjoying the outdoors
We're already looking forward to our next stop Skibb Library 🙂
