FET Centre Shanagolden Campus Shanagolden Campus is situated in the village of Shanagolden in heart of rural West Limerick. All subjects are accredited by QQI.

We provide Further Education and Training courses to re-skill, up-skill, and enrich your life with career options. A range of 13 subjects is provided over the two-year duration of the programme, in the areas of Information Technology, Business and Art. Learners complete a combination of eight subjects to achieve a QQI Information Processing Level 5 Award. Communications and Work Experience are co

Work Experience: Students complete a 3 week work placement as part of the criteria for Work Experience module. VTOS is continually expanding its links with local industry and companies to obtain relevant and practical experience to enable learners to return to the work force.

The group are working towards earning the Pieta House Amber Flag, which is a programme aimed at promoting mental health wellbeing in schools and communities.

Thanks to Belong To for the card this morning acknowledging our LCA 1 for their support. The group organised a movie day in centre in support of LGBTQ+ young people across Ireland. This was an event planned as part of Stand Up Awareness Week.
