Happy Friday once again everyone, it's been a busy two weeks in preschool getting ready for beep beep day. Last week we discussed beep beep day and road safety. We made some traffic lights and also created a map of our village. This week on monday we made some purple 💜 playdough, on Tuesday we made our stop and go signs, on Wednesday we had a practice crossing the road, Thursday was our visit from the garda. Thankyou garda Martina and garda Stephen for a lovely visit, it was really enjoyed 😉. Today Friday we took a walk around the village to get some photos for our map and stopped in the playground for some fun.

Happy Friday everyone. This week we had a busy week, we had a birthday 🎂 on monday, we celebrated 🥳 with all our friends. On Tuesday we made some orange 🍊 playdough, which is our colour this week. On Wednesday we decorated our own autumn 🍂 trees 🌳 as we learn all about Autumn 🍂. On Thursday we went for a nature walk to look for signs of autumn 🍂 and collect some leaves 🍃. Friday was a fun day, we visited the primary school classes to join in their power hour disco. This was in aid of Jack and Jill Children's Foundation with Dave Duke from Today FM. The children and staff enjoyed watching Laura and Dave carry out a dance off 💃 🕺 . Afterwards we celebrated 🥳 with some treats 😋.

Happy Friday everyone 😊
Everyone's settling back into the new school year
Our theme this week in preschool was self-care.

On monday we celebrated a birthday 3️⃣
On Tuesday we done handwashing with rufus the safe food monster 😋
On Wednesday we washed and dried our babies in preschool.
On Thursday we practiced putting on our coats 🧥
Today we done some more practicing with our coats and also done some movement break dancing 💃

We also went outside (when we could) 🌧 and put on our wellies to jump in the puddles 🥾 Wishing everyone a lovely weekend and see you all on Monday 🌟

On Monday we made Red Play doh and sang some new songs together at circle time. We also enjoyed some painting for our family wall display.
On Tuesday we painted our very own stars to mark our birthdays on our class birthday calendar 📆
On Wednesday we painted our very own balloons for our family photos.
On Thursday we were gluing and sticking decorations on our houses for our family wall display.
On Friday we started our day with some nice relaxing yoga. We also got to celebrate one of our new friends 3rd birthday and enjoyed some yummy cake together 🎂

Happy Friday everyone!
We had a very busy, fun filled first week back.
This week we were busy doing activities with the theme "Alll About Me"
We spoke about our hair and eye colours, our favourite food, favourite toys and colour. We made own self portraits showing how we are all different.
We also has fun making blue playdough. As the weather was so good we got to enjoy playing on the bikes outside.

Happy Friday everyone 🎨
Our first few days back of the 2026-2027 year!
We would like to welcome back our preschool 2 students and also welcome our new students who have started 😀

This week we settled back in and got to know our new surroundings.
We played with the water, sand, cars, bikes etc.
We also done some handprints and colouring!

Summer ☀️

Happy Summer Holidays everyone, we can't believe our preschool year has come to an end already!

On monday we made dairy and gluten free cookies which went down a huge hit with the children 😊
Yesterday we all brought in our teddies and had a teddy bear picnic 🥪 and ate our cookies that we made on monday 🍪
Today we had a Summer party, we had lots of cool moves shown to us and we also got taught the macarana by some of the girls from the primary school 💃

We would also like to wish our Graduates, Finn, Eychila, James, Jane, Leonas, Lucy, Sarah, Thea, Dean, Riordan, Daire and Frankie all the best in their new adventures ❤️
And we would like to thank ÁMC - Áine & Martins Creations for the delicious graduation cake that everyone demolished 🎂

Our last fundraising event of the school year is a Sponsored Walk through Hilton park on Monday the 22nd of June. We are asking all our families to support this event as much as possible. All monies raised so far this year has gone towards the purchasing of resources and organising school activities which each student has benefitted from. Your child would have received a sponsorship card and we ask you to return this card by Friday 19th June. There will be a special prize in each room for the most money raised. Thank you for continued support and generosity.
And please come join us on the day and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Hilton Park.

Happy Friday everyone 😊 our last full week done and dusted 📆
This week our theme was fathers day and sports day ⚽️

On monday we made fathers day cards and "red playdough" which was our colour of the week 🔺️
On Tuesday we had our sports day ⚽️ 🏃‍♀️
On Wednesday we done our fathers/Grandads profiles ℹ️
SaintEndas NationalSchool also has their sports day and they kindly let us use their bouncy castle and inflatables which the children loved 🏰
On Thursday we coloured our world cup football kits ⚽️
Today we done football yoga and also coloured toy story characters , we also watched a read along "toy story" story 👽

Wishing all our fathers/Grandads/ mothers/carers a lovely Fathers day this weekend, we will see you all on monday for our last few days of the 2025-2026 school year 😀
