✨ Welcome Back to School! ✨

We’re so excited to welcome you all back after what we hope was a wonderful summer full of fun and memories.

School starts on Monday 31st of August at 9.00am.

A very special welcome goes out to our brand-new Junior Infants who will be starting their school journey with us – we can’t wait to see all the smiles and excitement on their first day!
Reminder - Junior Infants have a gradual ease into their school day. Junior Infants will be in from 9.30am to 12 from the 31st - 4th of September and 9.00am - 12.30pm from the 7th - 11th of September.

We’re looking forward to a fantastic year ahead filled with learning, laughter, and new adventures together. 🌟📚✏️

Don't forget our back to school repair café this Thursday. In the Community Centre. Bring along uniforms, school bags or any other clothing items and Ana McGuire and volunteers will help you repair them. If you've any school uniform patches to donate to our repair café please leave a message here.

And that's a wrap for the School Year 2025/2026

Here's our June newsletter, and our final newsletter of the 2025/2026 school year.

June has been a wonderful way to finish the school year. Blessed with beautiful weather, our pupils enjoyed a wide range of activities, school tours, sporting events, celebrations, and special outings, creating many lasting memories together. We also marked some important milestones with our Graduation Ceremonies, celebrating the achievements of our pupils as they prepare for the next stage of their educational journey.

Thank you to all of our parents, guardians, staff, volunteers, and the wider school community for your continued support throughout the year. Your encouragement and involvement have helped make this another successful year at St. Catherine's.

We hope you enjoy reading about some of the highlights from the past month and that you all have a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable summer break.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back to St. Catherine's on Monday, 31st August for another exciting school year.

Interpreting a site like Drumanagh promontory fort isn't easy. While community excavations at Drumanagh have revealed remarkable evidence of contact with the Roman world — to most it looks like a grassy field. The students of Ms Kavanagh’s 4th class of St Catherines National School Rush accepted the challenge. Through a unique artist residency, delivered in partnership with Fingal County Council’s Heritage Office, Libraries Department and Arts Office, the children have uncovered the stories of this site and reimagined them through creativity.
