THE NATIONAL OUTLOOK.
Photo: Keem Bay, Achill Island, Ireland.
Overall the general outlook is dry and mild to warm for at least another 7 to 14 days. One or two damp days thrown in!
Pollen and UV Index will vary between medium and high for the next 5 days.
Daytime averages this week of 18C. Highs of 22C to 24C tomorrow with the rest of the working week seeing highs of 18C to 22C. A continued mix of cloud and sunshine.
Midweek could see a damp period but as we approach the coming weekend an increase in temps is possible with highs of 25C. Beyond the weekend early indications of an extended run of dry and mild to warm weather?
CONFIDENCE: 90% THIS WEEK.
CONFIDENCE: 60% BEYOND THIS WEEK.

As promised a week ago 😜 much warmer temps are on the way with highs of 25c with a steady increase in temps from Wednesday. Temps will range from 18c to 25c.
Coolest near Irish Sea, warmest in inland Connact and Munster!
These warmer temps "should/could" last into June. While it will be warmer the outlook looks like a mix of humid cloudy days and sunshine days. A slight risk of t/storm activity towards month end?
The risk of air or light ground frost has now passed so its now the time to start planting out tender summer bedding plants etc.
😎

Great forecast for the weekend and next week. Lots of vibrant plants to brighten up your containers, baskets and window boxes 😎🌺🌻🌞

02/05/2018

A slow but steady increase in temperatures over the coming 5/6 days.
A mix of cloud and sunshine will give way to more widespread sunshine by Sunday/Monday and Tuesday.
Highs of 14c to 17c tomorrow and Friday with light rain possible. Coolest near coasts.
As we kick off the May Bank Holiday weekend the outlook improves in terms of sunshine hours and temperatures with sunny spells and temps reaching the high teens 15c to 19c. Feeling cooler along the eastern seaboard and warmer in the western half of Ireland!
Bank holiday Monday and early next week will see a further increase in temps with highs of 22c possible.
Guidance by mid next week see's a return to more unsettled conditions?
