Little Rascals Community Playgroup We provide a supervised Community Playschool, weekday mornings from 9.15am to 12.15pm We cater for children from the age of 2 years 9 months to 6 years.

We are a Registered Charity& Community Organisation

We provide a mornings only, supervised sessional playgroup. We have a large, bright, playroom, well stocked with toys, arts & crafts mate

rials and educational equipment. We have a secure outside play area where children can enjoy informal interaction and explore nature

We also use the Sports Hall where children can run and play with bikes, cars, climbing frames, slides and other bigger toys when the weather does not permit outside play

We currently offer 5 sessions per week Monday to Friday 9.15 am - 12.15pm during termtime. We offer a free place to all pre-school children via the E.C.C.E scheme in conjunction with the Dept of Children. Children can enrol in September, January and April each year

To avail of the free pre-school year commencing in September 2016, children must meet certain age related criteria which can be found here -http://aim.gov.ie/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/Your-childs-eligibility-for-the-ECCE-programme.pdf

If your child is over the eligibility age requirement due to special needs they may be able to get an exemption from the upper age limit for the ECCE Scheme. Applying is easy; just contact us for more info. For children who are not on the ECCE scheme, our sessions are currently €10 per day and the number of sessions per week is flexible. We cater for children from the age of 2 years 9 months to 6 years. Children attending playschool should be toilet trained. Please contact staff to discuss any special circumstances

There may be other small costs throughout the year for day trips, bouncy castles, treat days etc.. These will be advised in advance and parents may choose to opt out of these activities. These costs will amount to a maximum of €30 over the course of the year. Little Rascals is wheelchair accessible and staff have expertise in the provision of suitable childcare for children with Special Needs and Disabilities.
