Not long to go until the 2026/27 school year begins!

A reminder to all that term begins this coming Wednesday the 26th of August, gates opening at 09:10 for our usual 09:20 start time

Thanks very much to Rosenallis Festival of The Mountain for having some of our robotics club students down at another fabulous edition of the festival!
It was great to break out the equipment one more time and show the community the ins and outs of robotics and what it looks like in our lovely school!

​After representing Ireland, and taking home a prestigious award at the VEX World Robotics Championships in the US earlier this year, these great young innovators are coming to Glenbarrow to show off their talent.

Rosenallis AFC is excited to launch a brand new Under 10 Girls team, and we’re looking for girls born in 2017 to join us!

Whether your daughter is already soccer mad or wants to give it a try for the first time, everyone is welcome. It’s a fantastic opportunity to make new friends, learn new skills, build confidence, and most importantly—have fun!

As our Summer Programme 2026 has come to an end, it is only fitting we give a big shout out and goodbye to 2 amazing people who are departing Rosenallis National School today.

In the final days of term the children and remaining staff said a heartfelt goodbye to Mr Walsh and Ms Scott as they head off in search of new chapters in their professional lives

We will miss them all terribly and are sure this won’t be the last time we see them. They have been phenomenal parts of the Rosenallis setup and will succeed no matter where they go

Mr Walsh transformed the school during his 5 year term in management, seeing digital learning expand, the opening of 2 autism classes, the revamp of our school identity and helped every single child grow in a way they felt was best for themselves

Ms Scott leaves behind a legacy of caring, compassion and understanding which culminated in capturing the schools recent Amber Flag where we were rewarded for being a fantastic school at promoting mental health awareness and care.

Thank you both on behalf of the entire Rosenallis National School community for every thing you both did in your respective tenures

We wish you both all the happiness in the world ✨✨✨✨

Team RNS Robotics from Rosenallis NS were crowned world champions in April
