🚦🚗 Beep Beep Day at Greenfields Childcare! 🚓👮‍♂️

What a fantastic few days we've had learning all about road safety here at Greenfields! 🚸

On Wednesday, the children from Cara House, Marian House and Senior Preschool were out and about preparing for today's Beep Beep Day celebrations!

The children have been busy learning about the rules of the road, the importance of road safety and how to keep themselves safe when out and about. 🛑🚶‍♂️

A huge thank you to Gaelscoil de hÍde Ros Comáin for kindly allowing us to use their yard and zebra crossing, giving the children a wonderful opportunity to put their learning into practice! 🦓

🚓 Today was the big day – Beep Beep Day! 🚦

We were absolutely delighted to welcome members of An Garda Síochána Roscommon to Greenfields today, who spent time with the children teaching them even more about road safety.

The children absolutely loved the visit, and it was such a fantastic opportunity for them to learn from our local Gardaí! 👮‍♂️💙

Beep Beep Day is such a valuable and beneficial initiative, helping children develop an awareness of road safety from a young age. Through fun, practical and hands-on experiences, they learn important skills that will help keep them safe as they grow.

What a truly special week it was at Greenfields Summer Camp. 💚🌿

After a busy year of learning, growing, routines, and achievements, our first week of Summer Camp gave the children something many of us forget we need... the chance to simply slow down.

Our Mindfulness Week was filled with moments of calm, kindness, laughter, creativity, and connection. Watching the children pause, breathe deeply, appreciate the little things, and enjoy each moment reminded us all just how important it is to nurture not only young minds but young hearts too.

These are the moments that childhood is made of – building confidence, creating friendships, finding peace, and making memories that will last long after summer ends.

A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful camp team – Monica, Gabrielle, Iluta and Chloe. Your passion, patience, enthusiasm, and genuine care created such a magical experience for every child.

As one amazing week comes to an end, another exciting adventure begins...

What a fantastic day our toddlers had on their trip to Upsie Daisies! 🌿✨

From climbing and exploring to laughing and playing together, every minute was filled with smiles. It has been such a privilege to watch this wonderful group grow in confidence, develop new skills, and create friendships that have blossomed throughout the year.

Days like these make such special memories, and we couldn't be prouder of every one of them. 💚

A huge thank you as well to our amazing toddler room staff for everything they have done this year — your care, dedication, and hard work make all of this possible.

Today we said goodbye to a very special group in Marian House. 🎓❤️

We celebrated their final day together with a party full of fun, laughter and happy memories.

It has been a privilege to watch these amazing children grow, learn and flourish over the past year. We are so proud of each and every one of them and wish them the very best as they begin their next adventure in school.

A huge thank you to Chloe and Áine for all their care, dedication and support throughout the year.
